Response to novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
The library will be closed until further notice, due to the Covid-19 virus. We will be opening as soon as public health advisories and the Library Trustees judge it to be safe to do so.
We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but are doing our best to keep patrons and staff safe and healthy.

History of the Library
We are actively gathering information for the history New Haven's Library to share on this website. If you have historical facts to contribute, please contact Deborah at the Library.
Our "new" Library 2009: Thanks to everyone who helped make our new library a reality. We appreciated everyone's dedication, time and effort as we planned and then moved into our new space in the spring-summer 2009! We are New Haven Community Library (Vermont)
NHCL provides and shares information about the operations of the library with members of the community. The New Haven Community Library is a self governing 501(C)(3) organization incorporated under the laws of the state of Vermont. The Library meets the Minimum Standards for Vermont Public Libraries.
Our Director is Deborah Lundbech.
Board of Trustees
The five Library Trustees are elected at Town Meeting. Please contact any Trustee if you have any questions. There are five members on the Board, one elected each year at Town Meeting, each serving a three-year term. Serving on the current Board are:
